Computer  Arithmetic  of
Complex Numbers

Arithmetic Unit VHDL-model

 

The project in the following structure is offered:

  • The electronic book with the theory and engineering decisions for computer arithmetic of complex numbers; book fragments  are resulted in this site; in these fragments it is possible to see purpose, the basic characteristics and the comparative analysis of the project;

  • Libraries  of  VHDL-model of the arithmetic device with available as fully functional and synthesizable VHDL source code;

  • Test system with assembler;

  • Program-browser for work with VHDL-model and test system.

In the project it is possible to see

  • New high-speed schemes of multiplication of the real and complex numbers;

  • New algorithms and schemes for high-speed calculation of all elementary functions of complex variable;

  • New algorithms and schemes for the high-speed decision of the transcendental equations;

  • New algorithms and schemes for high-speed calculation of roots of a power polynomial (for example, for the decision of the differential equations system);

  • The full theory of computer arithmetics of complex numbers;

  • Full open VHDL-model of the arithmetic unit;

  • Test system for this VHDL-model;

  • The assembler for development of own tests.

Various options of  use of project and cooperation  are possible.
